Sue Shadforth one of our members, has some lovely  fleeces - some are coloured but most are white Oxford Down cross suitable for most projects.  They are very big and she would be happy to split them.  There’s a message with photographs on the guild Facebook groups page.

Please find below an email regarding a spinning wheel from Margaret Soper.

I would like to find a home for a folding Ashford spinning wheel, carders, spindles, a little unwashed Jacob’s fleece and various books, etc.  I have included a picture of the receipt for the wheel and carrying case to show how much it cost when I bought it in 2005 but in fact it has not been much used so it’s almost as good as new.  My wish is to pass it on to someone who can enjoy using it, so I am happy to receive offers.  It would need to be collected – I live in Brentwood.  I’m wondering if you would be able to advertise it to your membership or further afield?  Or you may be able to suggest where I might best advertise it myself.

FOR SALE; Louet Spring 110 Loom

This was sent to our Secretary Sarah Hansell:

Really hope you don't mind me contacting you but have a Louet Spring 110 loom, stool and accessories for sale and wondering if any of your members might be interested.

I am attaching photos of the loom, the stool, warping sticks, various shuttles, tenter hook and warping board. ( I will have to send these on two emails I think)

I have so loved using this loom for making cushions, rugs, scarves, wall hangings etc etc but unfortunately unable to sit at the loom, due to a trapped nerve, so have decided to sell it and all the equipment.

I live in Norwich, so not too far away.

This is a Louet Spring 110 with ten shafts and as you can see looks like new. I have looked at the cost of a new loom and stool on George Weil and would now cost over £5000.00 for loom and stool.

I am looking for £3250.00 for loom, stool, shuttles, tenter hook and warping board etc
