Our guild was affiliated to the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers in 1981.  Many founder members are still with us and we currently have over 80 members.

There are over 100 guilds throughout Great Britain and more worldwide.  Links to the Association of Guilds and the on-line guild for those who cannot attend a local guild are on our ‘Contact & links’ page.

Also suppliers of equipment and fibres are there.

You don’t have to be a weaver, spinner or dyer to join our guild.  Several members only knit or crochet but are inspired by the workshops and can learn new skills.

Visitors are always welcome at all our meetings -

Membership is £20 pa. and we pay £2 admission fee for members at meetings, £4 admission for visitors.

Shirley Simpson will be demonstrating different techniques of dyeing at the February meeting.  Notes on the techniques that Shirley has compiled will be available and also dyes to purchase.
